FDS is a freight forwarding and customs clearance company registered in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman (P.O. Box 498, Mawaleh South). When you request a quote, contact us, or track a shipment, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, phone number, company name, and shipment details (origin, destination, cargo description). When we handle your shipments, we process the commercial information needed to perform freight forwarding and customs clearance services: shipment documents, invoices, and payment records.

How we use it

We use your information solely to provide our services: preparing quotations, arranging and tracking shipments, customs clearance, invoicing, payment follow-up, and service notifications (such as booking confirmations and arrival notices). We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Systems we use

We store and process operational data in trusted business systems: our freight management system (Logitude World), our accounting system (Intuit QuickBooks Online), Google Cloud / Firebase (website hosting and shipment tracking), and our email provider for service notifications. Data is shared between these systems only as needed to run our operations — for example, invoice details flow from our freight system to our accounting system.

Retention and security

We retain shipment and accounting records for as long as required by Omani law and standard commercial practice. Access to our systems is restricted to authorised staff.
